"Walking with my baby down by the San Francisco Bay"

The family headed down to the San Francisco Bay area for the Fourth of July Weekend, where Daddy celebrated the occasion by attending the Socialism 2009 conference.

We all stayed with Grandpa Gerald, Grandma Karen and uncle Jamana in Berkeley. Jamana's godsons, Dimitrius and Dori, came over to play and all the little guys had a pretty good time.

Mama and Miles had fun hanging out with friends in the city while Daddy was at his conference. Miles got to meet his great Protector, Nihar, who declared himself struck with baby fever after an afternoon at Dolores Park with Miles Leroy.

We headed back to Dolores Park for some 4th of July festivities, including catching a San Francisco Mime Troupe show. We spent the day with friends Adam and Shira, and met a brand new friend, their 2 month old daughter Irit (catching a bite to eat below!).

Then it was back to Berkeley for a post-conference BBQ party at grandpa Gerald's house where we enjoyed the Brothers Johnson (family relatives) on the stereo and ribs on the grill. The boys had a grand time.

Miles had a great time hanging out with family and meeting new friends.

When I saw Big M in SF he was taking a nap and being pushed around by momma, seems like that's a trend.

Great job at the conference Jesse!
