Heat wave

Seattle had a MAJOR heat wave the past couple of weeks, including one day where it reached 105, an ALL TIME record high for any day! Our house was sweltering, so the boys spent lots of time in the water - in the backyard and at the beach.

Now that it's cooled down and the little guy actually needs to wear clothes again, we had a chance to revisit the wardrobe for the ever-expanding babe. The adidas track suit is a highlight! In this photo Miles displays early signs of beat boxing talent. You can also see how he can pull and hold himself up standing.

Here Miles hangs out with buddy Melissa, and sports his lawn sport threads. The lawn sports were a part of the festivities for Alex & Wendy's baby shower, and Miles is really looking forward to meeting his new friend, who is expected to join us in a couple months!

And Miles continues to have a great time hanging out with Daddy - a favorite activity pretty much since birth has been playing the piano. But now Miles can actually join in for a duet!
